| In case where the defendant files an answer, if the court is of the opinion that the issues presented in the case are complicated, the court may set a date for settling issues in order to facilitate the trial. To settle the issues, the court must first examine the plaint and the answer filed by the parties. The issues in the plaint which are claimed by the plaintiff and explicitly denied by the defendant will be classified as issues in dispute. Then the court will impose the burden of proof in each of the issues in dispute and decides which party will have to adduce evidence first. |
